The project is strategically located less than a mile from Deland’s historic downtown and Stetson University, one of the oldest in Florida and the first to offer a law degree in the state.
The city of Deland is the county seat of Volusia County and was founded in 1876. It is part of the Orlando metropolitan area and is only 15 miles from the city of Daytona, which is also part of the same county. It is one of the oldest cities in the state.
